Before I was a mother, everything about babies and pregnancy intrigued me. I wanted to learn all there was to know concerning maternity, and I wanted to share that knowledge with anyone who could benefit from it. After having my four children, I realized that there is a pivotal time in parenting that the modern world was beginning to ignore--the postpartum period. Like my children, none of my postpartum experiences were the same; but the difference between my best and worst experiences was whether I had sufficient support and resources.

I want to be that difference for you.

You deserve it. Really, you do. You are strong, and you are capable; but you deserve rest and help. I am here for YOU.

I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawn to this work.

As a dedicated postpartum doula, my focus and expertise is on your postpartum period. I utilize evidence-based practices, and take pride in providing quality care with a heavy focus on an interpersonal relationship and connection with you, my client. My ultimate goal is for you to feel fully supported, heard, validated and encouraged. All families and all bodies, regardless of structure, identity, or cultural expression, deserve quality care. With New Moon, you will receive unbiased physical, emotional, and informational support.

Prenatal

Postpartum plan creation

Assistance finding local parenting resources

Postpartum In-Home

4-10 hour shifts; single sessions and packages available

Assistance with basic newborn care

Physical support and rituals to aid in recovery, rest, and bonding

Emotional support

Lactation, bottle-feeding, and pumping support and counseling

Light snack/meal preparation and light housekeeping

Babywearing assistance

Night time and overnight support available for an additional fee

Virtual/Phone

Address quick questions and concerns between shifts

Fully virtual support available for both local and long-distance clients
